Leviathan provide a wide range of fire safety inspection services including fire doors, compartmentation and fire stopping, all active fire safety systems and fire risk assessments. This allows us to gain a holistic understanding of how a building is constructed to help inform ongoing maintenance and remedial projects. In addition to our individual survey services, Leviathan also provide whole building Centre of Best Practice surveys which review and assess the fire safety systems and fire safety management to determine where non-compliances are present and to be able to support building owners to remediate and better manage their property assets.

Our experienced team of consultants specialise in providing project-specific guidance and advice for all types of fire safety issues. We can provide advice and guidance on individual fire safety systems, a building's fire strategy, evacuation methods, potential remedial proposals for when non-compliances are present and support to building owners for managing the fire safety in their buildings on an ongoing basis. Leviathan works with its clients to design, implement and maintain safe and compliant fire safety systems across all infrastructure types, including hospitals, schools, warehouses, defence buildings, hotels, student accommodation, care homes and residential buildings.

Leviathan are a leading provider of Authorising Engineer services across the NHS. We work with a significant number of NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers across the UK, including some of the largest NHS Trusts in the country. As an appointed AE, we will carry out in-depth annual audits of a Trust's fire safety, and we then work with the fire safety team to improve and strengthen all aspects of fire safety across the Trust's estate. As a result of working closely with Trust fire safety teams, Leviathan are able to offer support and guidance to each of our Trust clients, including support where project works are being carried out, support with the local fire and rescue service, including where a Trust faces enforcement action and support with the day-to-day management of the fire safety.

When disputes arise, Leviathan can offer a tailored service including technical investigations, document reviews and technical report writing to guide you through the dispute process. Each expert project is bespoke to the specific issue at hand and we can provide tailor-made reports and advice note that pinpoint the exact issues which are in dispute, the reaons why these issues arose, who bears responsibilities and how the issues can be quickly but safely mitigated and fully remediated. Our Expert Witness team work on projects involving all types of fire safety issues including both internal and external issues and have worked on buildings ranging from new acute hospital facilities, high-rise residential buildings, student accommodation and care homes to commercial buildings and property portfolios for leading developers and contractors.
